Eurest Catering, a proud division of The Compass Group, is pleased and honored to provide catering service for your business needs. Adherence to the following guidelines will ensure the quality of our catering service.
The requestor of the meeting is responsible for the ordering of any food.
Food-Allergic Individuals: Be aware that we handle and prepare egg, milk, wheat, shellfish, fish, soy, peanut, and tree nut products, and other potential allergens in the food production areas of our facility. Please direct any questions to the manager prior to placing orders.
All food should be ordered through Eurest Dining and submitted no later than (5) business days prior to your meeting or training. No food or beverage is allowed to be brought into the DePuy Synthes Institute from the outside. The form must include a PO number or a valid credit card if neither is listed then the order will not be processed. In the event of a “last minute request (less than 24 hours)” you will incur a $25.00 late fee or will be subject to refusal.
Food in the Johnson & Johnson Institute either in the break areas or the Bistro are for the groups that placed a catering order, not for DePuy Synthes Employees working in the main building or for groups that did not place a catering order.
Groups need to do their best to be on time to the Bistro, there are other groups that will arrive before or after another group and seating is limited in the Bistro. If you are an internal meeting (no surgeons) and you are running late, you will be asked to bring your food back to the meeting room.
A Continental breakfast and lunch buffet may be offered daily in the Bistro café. Please note that there must be a minimum of 25 people in the Johnson & Johnson Institute for the kitchen to be open. This can be one group of 25 or multiple groups that add up to 25. Meals may also be ordered from the catered Bistro menu and delivered to the meeting rooms or the Bistro seating area. Please state your preference on the CaterTrax slip. If the kitchen in the Bistro is not open on a day you requested, a member of the Eurest Dining will let you know 48 hours in advance.
Lunch will be served daily in the Bistro. Please note that there must be a minimum of 25 people in the Johnson & Johnson Institute kitchen to be open - Special requests will incur an additional charge.
All catered events will be held, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 A.M. and 2:45 P.M. Depending on the number of events scheduled, delivery times may need to be adjusted. The Catering Manager will contact the event coordinator if necessary.
All catered events held before 7:00 am will incur a service charge.
All catered events require 24 hour notice. Catering orders submitted after 10:00 A.M. with less than 24 hour notice will incur a $25.00 late fee or will be subject to refusal.
Evening events, scheduled 3:00 P.M. or later and Saturday events require a 10-day notice. In addition, these events will receive a labor charge associated with the event.
A guaranteed number of guests must be submitted 48 hours prior to an event. Events cancelled with less than a twenty-four hour notice will be billed at 50% of the cost of the food for the event.
Catered events include disposable plates, cups, and utensils.
China, linen and full table service is available for an additional charge.
Kosher and Special meals are available upon request; please Eurest Catering with any special requests.
All catered events that have a location change with less than 24 hour notice will incur a $25.00 room change fee.
